Services Provided

Peckinpaugh & Associates, Inc. is an on-going solutions provider.  It is our goal to become more than a vendor and more like part of the client's staff.  We provide our clients with the following computer-related support services:

  • General Consultation

    All of our successful relationships involve general consultation with respect to a client's business and successful use of computers in supporting that effort. 

  • Site Evaluation

    Every new client relationship begins with a site evaluation, which thoroughly analyzes a prospective client's business practices and needs.  This analysis can then be converted into a concrete computer business plan.

  • Packaged Software Selection

    Where possible, we attempt to find a pre-developed solution to our client's application needs.  Because of the ever-increasing time and cost to support new products, we will direct the prospect toward one of our supported products such as RealWorld®, Novell®, Windows®, or TeleMagic®.  If the need is not within our range of support, we will direct the client to a solution provider that meets their needs.

  • System Planning & Custom Programming

    Where there is a specialized need that cannot be solved with pre-packaged software, we will design and develop a custom application using Microsoft Visual FoxPro® or COBOL.   Because we are a source dealer for RealWorld Software, we are able to customize all of the standard modules to a client's specific needs.  We have also developed specialized modules for Labor Distribution and Swimming Pool Service that integrate with other RealWorld modules.

  • Hardware Selection

    Long-term, prompt support is a key ingredient when it comes to recommending computer hardware.  We utilize the services of a local manufacturer for all our servers and workstations because of their fast response to our parts and repair needs.

  •  On-Going Support

    For most of our active client base, our time is spent supporting what we have implemented.  This includes hardware upgrades and repair, network upgrades and supervision (including backup support), and application software support.  For any more information, feel free to e-mail us at: info@peckinpaugh.com
